|
The South Dakota Center for the Book and the South Dakota Humanities Council have selected Dammed Indians Revisited by Michael L. Lawson as the 2012 One Book South Dakota.
The prestigious status was conveyed upon the book at last night's opening event at the Festival of the Book in Deadwood, S.D. "I am incredibly pleased and honored that the Center for the Book and the Humanities Council have chosen Mike Lawson's book as the One Book Selection," said Nancy Tystad Koupal, director of the South Dakota State Historical Society Press. "The selection validates our hard work in publishing South Dakota's rich heritage. We look forward to the many events that will accompany this announcement in the coming year."
